Why use BlackBerry smartphones for mobile call recording and security? Why does Voxsmart only support BlackBerry as a security platform. There are many reasons, but most of all a security application like VoxRecord needs to work on a secure platform. A recently published article highlights the limitations and vulnerabilities of other mobile platforms, in particular Android. There is now a malware application that can record your calls without your knowledge and transfer them to a third party. This is not possible on the BlackBerry platform.
