VoxLog is an on-site call monitoring tool that is deployed to avoid "bill shock".
Mobile carriers usually run their billing cycles weekly or monthly. So you cannot get call data records in real time. You may not even get all calls reported if the mobile carrier does not give you records for free or in-bundle calls.
If you have a fleet of BlackBerry smartphones and a variable phone bill, you could end up with a nasty surprise when the mobile carrier bill arrives - especially if your staff roam overseas.
VoxLog is a low cost call accounting solution that gives you a real time statement of who's calling who, from where and for how long. You can see whether cost control policies are being followed, whether call usage is normal or out of control and who is generating the most cost.
No call data is ever transferred to Voxsmart. All data records are kept securely within a mobile buyer's own IT systems and displayed in the VoxLog Call Monitoring Portal (VCMP).
There is a small BlackBerry application that is loaded onto the mobiles and the VMCP which is loaded on site and gives a call by call account of total usage that can be analysed, by user, by carrier, by cost code etc, with graphical reporting.
